For this piece I chose to just do a simple swirl design on my stamp. It was my first ever project so I didn't do anything complicated. To create this, I started by shaping the base circle. When the base was to my liking, I added the swirl. Lastly I added the handle.I did fire this piece, but it ended up disappearing.
My plan was to create a stamp in the shape of a swirl. I don't want it to be to complicated, but I also want to spend time on it
Description:
For this piece I had no reference, I decided I wanted to just trust the process. I started by sculpting the shape of the head, and made sure it was some-what realistic. I then started with the eyes. I first put the inside of the eyes, then added the eye lids. I had to make sure the insides didn't stick out more than the outsides. I then got started on the rest of the face. I added the lips, eye brows, and nose. I then added more dimension to the face to try and make it more realistic. Lastly I added any final touches and hollowed out the back. I was very proud of this piece, considering it was my second project. If I could do anything different I would have more of a plan.

My plan is to create a realistic face. I hope it will turn out some-what realistic and look like a person
Small Piece with Underglaze
Plan:
My plan is to create a dish I can use for jewelry. I want it to have a beach design that I can create with underglaze
Description:
For this piece I used a mold to create a plate. I then used different colors of under glaze to create a starfish design. I originally had a different design, but it did not turn out how I wanted. I decided to paint over it and try again. I am pretty satisfied with how it turned out in the end.
